I love that you went for a “jog” the day after your marathon…
You need to buy a bike.

Funny, I told my wife this very thing just tonight. I’m not sure where to start as far as bike shopping goes. Any suggestions?

I’m cheap… and I figure fitness will trump equipment almost every day. So I’d look for a good affordable bike that fits you.
Do you own a bike already? I realize after reading some of the comments on your blog that some of your training partners are triathletes, so you may already ride with them.
I guess I’d ask, what do you want to do with your bike that you can’t do today? If you are seriously thinking about triathlon, then you might want to look for a bike designed for triathlon. But if you’d rather attack long road rides, then something less aggressive and racy may be more appropriate.
